Another curious bystander at London Collections: Men, Sam's style is so much on par with 1920s fashion, it is as if he had travelled through time. A more realistic explanation is he works at Thomas Farthing, a nearby Bloomsbury boutique supplying garments reflective of Britain's most dapper bygone eras.

Lewis is the general manager at Fernandez & Wells café at Somerset House. He is also starting out a new venture as a singer-songwriter. He wears Superga trainers, trousers from a boutique in Victoria, a Gap t-shirt, and his military jacket is genuine Royal Marines dress uniform. I was mightily impressed by his dapper beard.

#AmexInsiders, Somerset House

Lucy and Jean-Pierre are two of the #AmexInsiders team, whose role as concierges is to assist the guests at London Fashion Week. This season, designer Christopher Raeburn has collaborated with American Express by providing the team with garments from his SS14 collections, "Sandstorm" and "Mirage".
