Conor is a videographer specialising in fashion film. His upcoming documentary, Andrew Logan's Last Party at The Glasshouse, follows the story of Andrew Logan's famous Glasshouse art studio on Bermondsey Street, and the legendary parties which defined it. Conor is wearing all Hackett.

I spotted Jacob on the sidelines of the busy Columbia Road Flower Market, where he was picking up flowers for a wedding. It was interesting to learn Jacob's profession is an urban planner, since my own day job lies similarly in architecture. He wears a Pretty Green jacket, Zara jeans, and Aldo shoes.

When the guys at Size? and Eastpak asked me to write a feature about why I love my hometown, my heart sank a little. There isn't much I enjoy about Woking. It isn't the most glamorous place in the country, nor is it the most interesting. Heck, the only fun fact is H.G.Wells lived here once upon a time, but even he had the town blown up by aliens in War of the Worlds.

Most of all, Woking represents a part of my life from which I need to move on. As much I love my family (and my many, many cats), my aim has always been to secure a job in London and join my friends in the big city. London is where I want to spend the rest of my young years, until I have to settle down, make JK babies, and find a quiet home in the suburbs.

I love the hustle and bustle of the capital. Not so much when I'm trying to squeeze myself through a throng of slow-moving tourists in Soho, but I love the busy atmosphere all the same. The city is alive with colour, culture, and countless things to see and do.

A visit to Borough Market can never go amiss. The plethora of sweet and savoury aromas brings me close to drooling on every visit. And a casual stroll along the South Bank on a sunny evening is a beautiful walk indeed, especially when you look across the Thames to see the dome of St Paul's Cathedral glowing in golden sunlight. Even better would be a boat ride along the river, although I'd recommend something a little faster than the bog-standard river cruise.

Across the city, there's Shoreditch and Hoxton, where my eccentricities and sense of style are most at home, alongside the numerous vintage shops, arty bars, and men with curly moustaches. My favourite place to visit is Columbia Road Flower Market on a Sunday. Although the street is jammed with tourists and Londoners alike, and the flowers - as I have discovered - last little more than a week, there are cheerful vibes all around. Buskers play music while parents dance with their children, independent shops and cafés throw open their doors to the Sunday crowds, and the people I stop to photograph are among the friendliest I have ever met.

However, my favourite patch of London is wherever my friends are. I could be rounding up free cocktails at a press party with Tazz, catching up with Adora and Paige over dinner, visiting Verve for the umpteenth time with Maddy, salivating over market food with Georgia, or dancing the night away with Lizzie. They are what makes London so special to me, and why I want to make London my new home.

Jay Briggs SS15: "Melusina"

At first glance, there is ultimately something very Black Swan about Jay Briggs' beautiful collection, a spectacle of feathers and lace. However, the inspiration for these extravagant pieces is not the twisted descent of a New York ballet dancer, but rather the fairytale tragedy of a water nymph named Melusina, who concealed her true identity - and the secret of her eternal youth - from her beloved prince and husband.

The Melusina collection is so exquisite and intricately assembled, you might be surprised to hear Jay designed each garment and headpiece by himself, alongside a full-time job, and catching little more than two hours' sleep a night. Evidently, designing a fashion collection isn't all champagne and roses, but Jay's efforts demonstrate that beautiful things come from talent and unbelievable patience.

I don't think I could survive fashion month without Tazz. While far more knowledgeable about the fashion scene than I (she isn't a fashion editor for nothing!), she also has a knack of saving me from embarrassing accidents, normally a consequence of one too many complimentary drinks - "one too many" often meaning just the one.

Paris Fashion Week SS15

A weekend in Paris is the quintessential getaway for the discerning style blogger. There is certainly a whimsical quality about its old streets, beautiful architecture and grand open spaces, which lends itself to romanticism, elegance and classical style. Who wouldn't go prancing around one of the prettiest cities in Europe, head to toe in one's finest vintage-esque attire, all the while Instagramming everything quaint and charming?

But for this fashion blogger, a weekend in Paris did not involve much in the way of exploring narrow streets and stately gardens, nor did it involve eating pastries and multicoloured macarons, or posing next to pretty cars and bicycles. Rather, this fashion blogger exhausted himself in the frenzy of Paris Fashion Week, photographing Vogue editors, catwalk models, and famous fashionistas.

Having never visited Paris before, the city astounded me from the very start. Over the rooftops, the spire of the Eiffel Tower dominated the cityscape in all its magnificence. But there was little time for sightseeing on Saturday morning, as I followed La Seine in search of my fellow photographers. I soon found them at the Grand Palais, awaiting the VIP guests for Mugler. The sun beat down on us from a beautifully blue sky - an unexpected change of climate from the autumnal mood of England.

The rest of the weekend seemed to whip by in a blur, even though we lingered outside each show for no less than two hours at a time. Acne, Kenzo and Céline drew the fashion elite in their designer resplendence, who were quickly ambushed by a firing squad of photographers. Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Battaglia of Vogue Japan were indisputably the people's champions, attracting more than fifty photographers outside Céline. Peacocking is even greater at Paris Fashion Week, compared with London, although the sense of style is far more refined.

Eventually, the swollen crowds became a tad overwhelming for this young blogger, who thought there might still be time for some sightseeing after all. One pistachio ice cream and an Eiffel Tower later, I slumped aboard the return Eurostar, finally feeling the physical demands of such a fast-paced weekend. Yet despite my complete and utter exhaustion, I had come to understand what David Nyanzi said to me outside the Grand Palais - once you get a taste for Paris Fashion Week, you always come back.
