If I had to give an award for consistently best-dressed at London Fashion Week, it would go to these two beautiful bloggers, Emma Hill and Annie Amusu. Unsurprisingly, this shot is my favourite street style photo to date. Emma wears Miss Selfridge dungarees, Zara shoes, Fiorelli handbag, and coat by Philli Wood for Warehouse. Annie wears Finders Keepers trousers and sweatshirt, ASOS shoes, and a High Spirit rucksack.

It was a pleasure to finally meet fashion historian Liz Tregenza, who assisted my research for my university major project. I bumped into her close to Columbia Road, where she was wearing a 1950s floral cardigan and Jonathan Logan dress.

Robert John Railton, artist, is looking seriously dapper once again, this time wearing a Topman coat and three-piece suit, with Joseph Cheaney tassel loafers. His latest artworks take inspiration from the fashionable hubbub of London Fashion Week.

Jo (right) and Victoria (left) are the Bristolian blogger duo behind 'She and Hem'. While the first day of London Fashion Week was subject to torrential rain, I was so adamant on photographing these lovely ladies in their co-ordinating Orla Kiely outfits, I offered them my umbrella and braved the downpour.

I spent this beautifully sunny Sunday at Columbia Road Flower Market, Hoxton, where I met two of the loveliest and smiliest girls. Charlotte (left) wears a Mango skirt, hat from Brick Lane, and all else is Zara. Sarah (right) wears Tommy Hilfiger duck boots, Whistles blouse, Zara coat and pullover, MCM clutch, and Tom Ford sunglasses.

The pickle of packing

When it comes to packing, I wouldn't describe myself as particularly efficient. There are always pairs of shoes or items of clothing I never wear on holiday, yet I am adamant on stuffing them into my suitcase on the off chance I might need them. Even at university, I would fill an entire rucksack with all my socks, because I wasn't sure which ones I'd want to wear during a two week break at home. Madness.

But the luxury of limitless luggage isn't available on EasyJet flights. Tomorrow morning, when I travel to Amsterdam for a three-night city break, I am permitted only one item of hand luggage. Hence this weekend's challenge has been to fit four outfits (plus shoes), my satchel and necessary gadgets into a small carry-on case.

Did I achieve it? Well, I couldn't pack as many fancy things as I'd have liked (one must look their best when travelling abroad, you know!), but at least I won't be walking around Amsterdam completely naked. Now tell me, how might I go about constructing an outfit from a hundred socks?

Towards the end of the first day of LFW, the sky turned a stormy grey and the rain came pelting down like nobody's business. Yet I thought it would be a sensible idea to continue taking photos without a coat or umbrella. When I got around to Arabella, my glasses and viewfinder had fogged up so much, I found myself shooting a black and gold blur. I am surprised to have captured some good shots that afternoon, including this rather fun moment (also featured at Buro247.kz). Arabella wears a Coast skirt, H&M belt, Zara shoes, Chanel bag and earrings, Urban Outfitters jacket, and Accessorize umbrella.

The beginning of March beckons that transitional period of spring sunshine and what we hope to be the last of winter's bite. Although there is no longer a need to wrap ourselves in a hundred layers, picnic weather is a long time coming, and a warm coat or jacket is still a sensible choice when venturing out into the great outdoors. My favourite outerwear for a bright yet chilly weekend is an Adidas NEO denim jacket, made with padded lining and a shearling collar for additional warmth.
