US election 2012, Bournemouth University

While many of you are learning this morning that Barack Obama was re-elected as the President of the United States, students at the Bournemouth University Media School broke the story before major news networks.

More than 300 students and a handful of lecturers, across various media courses, were crazy enough to stay awake from 7pm last night until 7am this morning, reporting live on breaking news and the latest developments. Most of them are likely catching up on sleep, but each and every one should be commended for their efforts. This was far more than just something to put on the CV.
