Christmas Day was a lazy Sunday, since without our stepsister, Maddy, arriving until Boxing Day afternoon, official festivities couldn't begin. Therefore both Leanne and I didn't feel particularly Christmassy when we awoke on Sunday morning.
Thankfully, the traditional roast lunch and enthusiastic present opening followed the very next day - our, we shall say, Christmas Day+1. Here's what I've received thus far...
'The Fashion Book' from my friend, Claire - a history lesson in key figures in fashion.
Black leather boots from Maddy and boyfriend Matt - to replace the pair with which I drunkenly
waded into the sea and completely ruined as a result. Well, they were on their way out anyway. |
Johnstons and Barbour checkered scarves from my Mum and Stepdad. |
Ted Baker socks, also from my Mum and Stepdad. |
Topman socks from Leanne - my favourites are the stripy pair on the far right. |
Burton long-sleeved, ribbed t-shirt from my Mum and Stepdad. |
Calvin Klein pyjama bottoms from my Mum and Stepdad. |
Jar of sweets from my Aunt Monica, Uncle Ken and Cousin Krystal; Popping candy Chocolate
Orange from my Mum and Stepdad, and a box of Fruit Salads from my Nana and Grandad. |
